Iranian women’s volleyball team reaches final at Islamic Countries Solidarity Games

The Iranian team managed to reach the final by defeating its rival from Azerbaijan at the Islamic Countries Solidarity Games.

Iran women’s national volleyball team defeated the Republic of Azerbaijan 3-1(25-18; 18-25; 25-16; 25-22) in the semi-finals on Sunday, becoming the first finalist in the volleyball contest.

The Iranian women’s volleyball team beat its rival from Uzbekistan in the first round, then the team was trounced by Turkey, but they reached the final by defeating Azerbaijan.
