Iranian girls’ Taekwondo team claims title at World Championships Cadets and Juniors
Tehran (Pa Alam) – Iranian national girls’ Taekwondo team ranked first at the 5th World Championships Cadets and Juniors in Sofia, Bulgaria and managed to gain 4 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals.
During this competition, Parnian Saki conceded a defeat against her rival from Thailand in the 37kg weight category, winning a silver medal. While, in the previous stages, she managed to beat her other rivals from Bulgaria, Australia and Armenia respectively.
The Iranian team’s four precious gold medals were won by Saina Alipour, Baran Jamal-Livani, Parnian Nuri, and Hana Zarrin-Kamar, while Parnian Saki won a silver and Fatemeh Bagherzadeh claimed a bronze medal.
