Iranian freestyle wrestlers shine at Bolat Turlykhanov Cup
Tehran (Pa Alam) – Iranian freestyle wrestlers claimed three gold and one silver medals at the Bolat Turlykhanov Cup Ranking Series event in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Iranian freestyle wrestler Hassan Yazdani won the gold medal in the 86kg category at this competition in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He managed to defeat Boris Makoev from Slovakia 11-0 in the final match of the 86kg category.
Yazdani had already gained a victory of 12-0 against his rival from Turkey, and then he managed to beat his rival from Kazakhstan 12-1 in the semi-final round.
Moreover, Kamran Ghasempour defeated Adilet Davlumbayev from Kazakhstan 11-0 in the final round of 92kg category.
Also, Amirhossein Zare achieved a gold medal in the 125kg category, defeating Yusup Batirmurzaev from Kazakhstan 21-10 in the final. In addition to gold winners, Amirhossein Firouzpour won one silver medal in the 97kg category.
