Iran to send 8 female weightlifters to Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya
Tehran (Pa Alam) – Iranian women’s national weightlifting team with eight participants will compete at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkey.
Iranian women’s national weightlifting team will attend the event for the first time.
Poopak Basami, Fatemeh Keshavarz, Forough Younesi, Shina Amani, Elahe Razaghi, Abrisham Arjmand-Khah, Elham Hosseini and Fatemeh Yousefi are the eight Iranian female weightlifters who will participate in the event.
The competition between female weightlifters will begin from August 12, 2022.
Iranian men’s national weightlifting team will also participate in the competition with 9 representatives.
