Mehdi Kharati said: The national team left Tehran for Beirut on Sunday (November 7) with the help of Iran Air. After the team arrived at Beirut Airport, a PCR test was taken from the Iranian convoy, which fortunately all the answers were negative.
He continued: “Legionnaires gradually joined the team after the arrival of the national team in Lebanon, and the last members, Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Amir Abedzadeh, entered the camp last night.”
The head of the national teams department added: “The national team will leave Beirut on Friday at 11:30 on a charter flight to Amman.” According to the current procedure, all members will be tested as soon as they arrive at the airport. We will train in Jordan on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and we will face the Syrian team on Tuesday (November 16th).
Kharati said: The national team will return to Tehran on a charter flight on Wednesday (November 17) and most of the legionnaires will travel to other countries from Amman. In general, good preparations have been made for the games against the Lebanese and Syrian teams, and God willing, we will see good things for our national team with the blessings of the people.
