4 colorful Medals for Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers at Bulgaria Tournament
Tehran (Pa Alam) – Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers won 4 colorful medals at the Bulgaria Tournament. Also, Omid Arami and AmirReza Dehbozorgi will continue the competition to achieve gold medal.
The International Tournament in GR, FS and WW – U23 in the memory of “Petko Sirakov and Ivan Iliev” is organized by the Bulgarian Wrestling Federation and is being held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
At the end of the first, second and third days in the 60 kg category, Omid Arami and AmirReza Dehbozorgi in two groups of 4-person and 3-person respectively managed to win and attend the final stage, and they will compete to achieve gold medal.
In the 77 kg category, MohammadHossein AzarmDokht could defeat his rival and he will compete against his new rival from Turkey.
In the 72 kg category, MohammadReza Rostami gained a 9-0 and 9-5 victory over his rival from Kyrgyzstan and Bulgaria respectively. He won a gold medal by defeating his rival in the last stage.
In the 82 kg category, MohammadHosseing Mahmoudi gained a 6-3 victory over his rival from Bulgaria, but he couldn’t attend the final round due to physical damage.
In the 87 category, HamidReza Badkan achieved an 11-2 victory. In the next round, he defeated his rival 8-0, and in the 3rd round due to the fact that his rival did not attend the tournament, he took part in a semi-final. Badkan could accomplish a gold medal by defeating his own Turkish rival.
In the 97kg category, Morteza Alghousi gained a 10-8 victory over his rival from Kazakhstan and an 8-0 victory over Bulgaria. However, he was defeated by his Turkish rival with 12-3 and could achieve a silver medal.
In the 130kg category, Alireza Hassanvand received a 4-0 victory over his rival from Bulgaria, but he was defeated in the next rounds and accomplished with a bronze medal.
