10 colorful Medals for Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers at Sassari Tournament
Tehran (Pa Alam) – Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers ranked first at the Sassari Tournament in Italy with 10 colorful medals.
Iran’s team managed to win 7 gold, 2 silver and one bronze medals at the Italian tournament held in Sassari City Matteo Pellicone Memorial, Italy.
Mahdi Javaheri, Saeed Esmaili, Amir Abdi, Masoud Kavousi, Alireza Mehmadi, AmirReza Akbari and Fardin Hedayati defeated their opponents and grabbed the gold medals in the 55kg, 63kg, 72kg, 77kg, 82kg, 97kg, and 130kg weight categories respectively at the Sassari Championship in Italy. Moreover, Mehdi Ahadi and Shahrokh Michaeli managed to achieve gold medals in the 55kg, 130kg weight categories respectively. Also, Shayan HabibZareh gained a bronze medal in the 87kg weigh category at this competition.
