All our focus is on the upcoming games

Dragan Skocic said: “I am proud to be nominated for the Best Coach of the Year award as the head coach of the Iranian national football team.”  Of course, this candidacy is not unique to me, but thanks to God and belongs to all of us, the Iranian national team, all my players, the technical staff and the football federation.

 He continued: “I am very happy that the work that we have all done together, has been considered worldwide and I thank God for this and of course it makes us have a heavier responsibility from now on.”  Also, I am very proud that our players have been selected as the best players.

 The head coach of the national team added: “Of course, such news is very sweet, but we do not have time for more happiness, because all our focus is now on the upcoming games.”  I just want to take this opportunity and ask the higher institutions and bodies to come to the aid of the federation so that we can provide the best conditions for the national team with more alignment, because we deserve it.  All our efforts are in this direction to be a worthy representative for the people and the country of Iran, and I sincerely hope that others will come to our aid in this direction.
